Our Mission Statement

Who are we?

Firstly, hello and a warm welcome to all our visitors.

For those who don’t know us, CVO (EA) Ltd is a Scottish Charity whose purpose is to provide support and help to voluntary organisations in East Ayrshire. We provide a large range of services geared to assist with the start up of groups through to continuously supporting and encouraging their development. Voluntary organisations and groups provide many useful services, we recognise this and know the importance they play through out the Ayrshire community. Forging and maintaining links with many agencies that supply voluntary sector support allows us to offer your group help in continuing to provide services to the community.

“The CVO (East Ayrshire) exists to represent the Voluntary Sector;  To assist organisations in East  Ayrshire to come together for common purposes and to enable local people to gain access to the decision making process which affect their communities”

What’s New?

Quite A LOT..........For those who are regular visitors the first thing you notice is a new layout to the website. This is for a few reasons,

Firstly
To introduce a new partnership we are happily involved with, East Ayrshire Local Social Economy Partnership.
You can have a look at the dedicated website by clicking HERE or by clicking on the East Ayrshire map on the top right of the page. (Opens in a new page)
Secondly
Changes have been made to make navigation a bit easier.
(All the main pages reachable from the top banner and on each of them any relevant subheadings are listed on the left side.)
Thirdly
There have been a few changes within the CVO(EA) Ltd and some of the services offered are now no longer available or are in transition due to staff changes (more on this below). This will hopefully not be a long term situation, in the meantime any questions or inquiries can be directed to Yvonne.Jackson on 01290 420262 or Rita McDowall on 01563 574000.

Staff Changes

June has now left the CVO after many successful years and wishes to thank all the funders, organisations, groups and individuals that have supported her and the CVO over the years. Heather Baillie’s contract is now coming to an end and also extends her thanks to all. A job is never over till it’s over, to see Heather’s latest and possibly final web input please click HERE
We would thank Darren who has also left and wish him all the best in the future.

Of course as people leave, so new or (nearly) new faces appear. We welcome Yvonne, who has joined our team in Cumnock as Administration Assistant. In due time we will bring you more information once she has settled in CVO (EA) Ltd.
